How does it work?

The first thing we do is the assessment. Here we do a walkthrough of your property just as a potential buyer would do. We take note of all of those 'flaws' which might put off buyers. This is also done from the perspective of which of those items will yield the best return in terms of sale price and time your house spends on market. Our goal is to make a list of things which can be addressed easily and for a high return. A typical assessment would yield 10-15 items; things like overgrown yards, sticking front doors, that bedroom which has just a light bulb instead of an actual fixture, a dated kitchen faucet or hardware, and that pile of junk in the garage or backyard. These are the things which will help make sure your property shows well and that buyers don't have to look past to see the value of your home. The value of what we bring is perspective; not just a handyman fixing things but the knowledge of which items represent the best potential return from a real estate point of view.

Pricing

Assessment is $285.  The typical report will have 10-15 items with an estimated cost to address of between $1000-3000. We group those items into various 'levels' or 'packages'. You can choose to address all or only some of the items, giving you control and flexibility. Booking the service with us gets you half off the assessment cost- the balance going towards the repairs. Upon booking we'll schedule a time that works for you to complete the items so you can get your house listed in great shape. Since we don't go into full renovations, you can usually expect that your list can be completed in a few days.
